Labradorite Carvings

The blue light which glows from the inside of these gem crystal labradorite carvings is called schiller or labradorescence. Healing and other metaphysical significance has been attached to this mineral and it has been associated with energy from the planets. Modern science tells us the bluish light is from optically twinning planes in the chemical structure. These gem quality labradorite carvings show varying amounts of labradorescence.
